Cabin Leader: Maria “Octobook”
Hey!! My name is Maria, and I am so excited to be your kids’ cabin leader for the week. I am from Madrid, Spain, and I am studying primary teaching and pedagogy at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. I love reading, swimming, and playing board games. I also love going banana boating with the campers and playing night games. This is my second summer as a cabin leader, and I can’t wait for your kids to come!
Cabin Leader Updates
Hello everyone!! The start of the week has been so fun!! Yesterday, we went through an escape room in a box, and we went down the hidden river in a canoe. We even saw a bald eagle! Today, we are going BANANA BOATING!!!! We are so excited to be whipped around (carefully) in the lake. We are also going to the petting zoo to pet some fo the really cute animals that they have! The night game was super fun and we got to save the ice cream (ask us about this one later)! We love Chapel time. The songs from worship are amazing and our speaker, Cynthia, is teaching us a lot of things, like giving second chances to people just like God gave Saul a second chance when he turned him to Paul.
