Cabin Leader: Grace “Peeves”
Hello! My name is Grace Buringa, AKA Peeves, and I am a Cabin Leader at Trout Lake Camps! I am so excited to get to know your child this week! I’m from Southeastern MN and attend NDSU, where I study Exercise Science! I love to play all kinds of games, be outside, and make people laugh! Here at camp, I love taking part in games at the rec area, being near the water, and eating meals in the dining hall! I can’t wait to experience all things camp this week with your child and assist them in their faith journey!
Cabin Leader Updates
Hello from Kodiak! We are having a great time here at camp! We got the privilege to partake in one of the most anticipated Trout Lake Camp activities... Banana Boating! Wondering what that means? It's basically the camp equivalent of bull riding but instead of a large slightly angry animal, we ride a big tube that fits our whole cabin whil e aboat pulls around the lake and the driver tests our ability to hang on tight. The girls have some pretty tenacious grips! Today, we will go on more adventures. Our activity is Leap of Faith! In Chapel and Bible X, we have been learning what it means to be a friend like Barnabas who invites people into the Godly communities despite how they treated others in the past. Can't wait to see how the Lord will move the rest of the week!
