Cabin Leader: Uziel “R2D2”
Hi, my name is Uziel. I’m pursuing a diploma in actuarial science at Universidad de la Américas Puebla. I heard about Trout Lake Camps at a summer camp fair; when I found out it was a Christian camp, I knew it’s where I wanted to work. I have experience in one-day camps in Mexico, and have worked two years as a volunteer at the summer camps at La Vid church. In my free time I enjoy doing math, reading, and playing basketball & board games. This summer I want to be a Cabin Leader to get out of my comfort zone and improve my English. I hope my campers will come closer to God and learn He is a personal God.
Cabin Leader Updates
Tues.- We had a great time this week at the Unity Fair with a dunk tank, giant Jenga, volleyball, etc. We also had fun at the Lagoon playing nine-square. During Tabernacle and cabin discussion, we learned that sin is a great problem; Cabin Leaders got to share testimonies of how they have a personal relationship with God.
